This Privacy Policy describes how SprayLogic LLC ("SprayLogic", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, processes, stores, discloses, and otherwise handles information in connection with the SprayLogic software-as-a-service platform, our public websites, dashboards, communications, integrations, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy applies to information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked to an individual or household ("Personal Information"). It also explains how SprayLogic handles information, records, and content submitted to the Services by or on behalf of a business customer ("Customer Data").
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Use of the Services is also governed by the SprayLogic Terms of Service. If there is a conflict concerning privacy or data handling, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to SprayLogic's privacy practices, while the Terms of Service control contractual rights, operational responsibilities, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to SprayLogic websites, prospective customers, customers, account owners, authorized users, pilots, employees, contractors, customer contacts, and other individuals whose Personal Information is processed through the Services.
The Services are designed solely for commercial and professional users who are at least eighteen (18) years old. The Services are not directed to minors.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, services, or integrations that maintain their own privacy policies, except to the extent this Privacy Policy specifically describes information SprayLogic receives from or discloses to those parties.
SprayLogic's privacy role depends on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed.
For Personal Information that SprayLogic collects and uses to create and administer accounts, provide Subscriptions, communicate with users, secure and improve the Services, provide support, and operate our public website, SprayLogic generally determines the purposes and means of processing.
Stripe independently processes payment and billing information needed to provide payment-processing, fraud-prevention, and related services. SprayLogic does not control all purposes for which Stripe processes that information. Stripe's processing is governed by Stripe's own terms and theStripe Privacy Policy.
For Personal Information contained in Customer Data that a customer submits and instructs SprayLogic to process on the customer's behalf, SprayLogic generally acts as a processor or service provider. In that situation, the customer determines why the information is collected and how it is used. The customer is responsible for providing legally required notices, obtaining legally required permissions or consents, responding to requests from affected individuals, and ensuring that its instructions to SprayLogic comply with applicable law.
If a customer requires a data processing addendum or other written privacy terms, the customer may contact support@spraylogic.co. Any such terms apply only if accepted in writing by SprayLogic.
Depending on how an individual interacts with SprayLogic, we may collect the categories of Personal Information described below. We use these categories to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services; administer Accounts and Subscriptions; communicate with users; comply with law; and perform the other activities described in this Privacy Policy.
SprayLogic does not sell or rent Personal Information or Customer Data. Information is disclosed only to service providers acting for SprayLogic, Stripe for Subscription payment processing, customer-directed recipients, or other recipients specifically identified in Section 15. Retention is described in Section 17.
We may collect names, business names, farm names, job titles, email addresses, telephone numbers, business contact details, account usernames, authorized-user roles, permissions, and other information used to establish or administer an account.
We may also process authentication and security information, such as password hashes, authentication tokens, login timestamps, failed-login information, session identifiers, multifactor-authentication status, and records relating to account recovery or suspected unauthorized access. Users are responsible for providing accurate information and protecting their credentials.
SprayLogic uses Stripe to process Subscription payments. When a user purchases or manages a Subscription, Stripe may collect billing name, billing email, billing address if required, payment-card or bank-account information, device and browser information, IP address, transaction details, and information used for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
Payment information is submitted directly to Stripe. SprayLogic does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes. SprayLogic may receive limited information from Stripe, such as Customer name, billing email, card brand, last four digits, Subscription status, payment status, transaction identifiers, and amounts paid.
Stripe processes information under its own terms and theStripe Privacy Policy. Information provided to Stripe may also be processed by banks, card networks, payment-method providers, and Stripe service providers as necessary to complete and secure transactions.
Customers and authorized users may submit Customer Data to organize and document their spray-drone operations. Depending on the features used, Customer Data may include:
SprayLogic processes Customer Data only to provide, secure, maintain, support, and troubleshoot the Services; follow customer instructions; maintain security backups; and comply with law. SprayLogic does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, legality, authenticity, or regulatory sufficiency of Customer Data.
The Services may allow customers to record information relating to pilot certificates, applicator licenses, training records, insurance, qualifications, and FAA medical certification, such as certificate class, issue date, expiration date, status, and uploaded documentation.
The Services are not designed to receive detailed medical histories, diagnoses, treatment information, Social Security numbers, complete payment-card information, full government identification numbers, biometric templates, or other highly sensitive information unless SprayLogic expressly requests that specific information through a designated feature.
Customers should not upload protected health information subject to HIPAA or detailed medical information. SprayLogic is not a healthcare provider or medical-records system, and the Services are not intended for clinical or patient information.
When a customer uses mapping, location, field, or weather functionality, the Services may process location and geospatial information, including selected locations, device-provided coordinates, field boundaries, polygons, map markers, acreage calculations, job locations, flight or application areas, map layers, and timestamped geospatial records.
Location and geospatial information may be supplied by a customer, generated by a device, imported from another service, or obtained through a third-party mapping provider. SprayLogic may transmit a selected location, coordinates, map viewport, boundary, or related request data to mapping, geocoding, weather, or other service providers when necessary to provide the requested feature.
The processing of location data under this Privacy Policy does not mean that SprayLogic continuously monitors an individual. SprayLogic does not intend to track users outside the functionality they actively use. Device-level permissions may be changed through the applicable browser, operating system, or device settings.
We collect information when individuals contact us, request support, participate in a demonstration, submit feedback, report a security issue, respond to a survey, communicate through the Services, or otherwise interact with SprayLogic. This information may include contact information, message content, attachments, support history, call or meeting notes, and diagnostic information.
We may use support communications to respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, train support personnel, maintain service records, improve the Services, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and protect users and SprayLogic.
When an individual visits or uses the Services, SprayLogic and its contracted service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information, including:
We use this information to operate, authenticate, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the Services; prevent fraud and abuse; and maintain reliable platform functionality.
SprayLogic and its contracted service providers may use cookies, local storage, session tokens, and similar technologies for authentication, session management, preferences, security, error detection, performance monitoring, and basic service analytics.
SprayLogic does not use authenticated Customer Data for advertising and does not place advertising pixels in authenticated areas of the Services. SprayLogic does not disclose spray logs, chemical records, field boundaries, fleet records, licensing records, compliance documents, or other Customer Data to advertising networks.
Browser and device settings may allow users to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies that are necessary for authentication or security may prevent login or cause portions of the Services to function improperly.
SprayLogic may receive information from:
We may combine information received from these sources with information collected through the Services and use it only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
SprayLogic may use Personal Information and Customer Data to:
SprayLogic may create aggregated or de-identified technical and usage information that is not reasonably capable of identifying a Customer, authorized user, individual, field, or specific operation.
SprayLogic may use that information internally for security, system reliability, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and improvement of the Services. SprayLogic does not sell aggregated or de-identified information derived from Customer Data or disclose it to third parties for advertising or independent commercial use.
SprayLogic does not sell, rent, license, or disclose Personal Information or Customer Data to third parties for their own advertising, marketing, data-brokerage, or unrelated commercial purposes.
Information may be disclosed only in the following limited circumstances:
The Services may retrieve, display, combine, or process information from weather providers, mapping and geocoding providers, government databases, pesticide-label sources, and other third-party integrations.
To provide a requested feature, SprayLogic may transmit limited request information such as coordinates, a selected location, a map viewport, a field boundary, search terms, product identifiers, or technical request information to the applicable provider. SprayLogic does not disclose unrelated Customer Data to those providers.
Third-party providers may independently collect and process information under their own privacy policies. Operational disclaimers and customer-verification responsibilities for weather, mapping, chemical, and government information are contained in the Terms of Service.
SprayLogic retains active Account information and Customer Data while reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain Account security, comply with law, enforce agreements, and resolve documented security incidents or disputes.
SprayLogic maintains backup copies solely for security, disaster recovery, system integrity, incident response, and business continuity. Backup copies are not used for advertising, data brokerage, profiling, or unrelated commercial purposes and are not offered as a customer-facing archival service.
After Account cancellation or termination, SprayLogic may delete active Customer Data after a commercially reasonable transition period. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until overwritten through ordinary backup cycles, or longer where preservation is required by law, legal process, or a valid dispute hold.
Customers are responsible for exporting records they wish to retain before Account access ends. SprayLogic does not guarantee that an individual deleted record can be restored from a backup.
SprayLogic uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information and Customer Data against unauthorized access, acquisition, destruction, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Safeguards may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit where appropriate, monitoring, logging, security backups, provider review, confidentiality obligations, and incident-response procedures. The specific safeguards used may evolve as the Services and available technologies change.
No internet transmission, cloud service, device, credential, or storage system is completely secure. SprayLogic cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, acquired, lost, altered, or disclosed without authorization.
Customers and users are responsible for securing their devices, networks, email accounts, credentials, exports, and local copies of information; using appropriate access controls; promptly removing access when personnel change; and notifying SprayLogic at support@spraylogic.co of suspected unauthorized access or security incidents involving the Services.
SprayLogic maintains processes designed to investigate suspected security incidents. If SprayLogic determines that notice is required by applicable law or contract, SprayLogic will provide notice to affected individuals or customers in the manner and within the time required by applicable law or contract.
A customer is responsible for providing current account-contact information and for delivering any notices required because of the customer's own systems, users, instructions, Customer Data, or processing activities.
SprayLogic does not sell or rent Personal Information or Customer Data, does not operate as a data broker, and does not use authenticated Customer Data for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
SprayLogic does not disclose Customer Data to advertising networks, social-media advertising platforms, or unrelated third parties. Any disclosure to service providers is limited to the operational purposes described in Section 15.
Most browsers allow users to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies used for authentication, session security, or essential functionality may prevent login or cause portions of the Services to function improperly.
The Services may not respond to a traditional "Do Not Track" browser setting because there is no uniform industry standard governing that signal. SprayLogic does not use authenticated Customer Data for targeted advertising.
SprayLogic may send transactional or relationship communications, including Account verification, Subscription and payment notices, security alerts, password-reset messages, service announcements, support responses, and other information necessary to provide the Services. Users generally cannot opt out of essential transactional communications while maintaining an active Account.
Any optional promotional email will include an unsubscribe method where required. An unsubscribe request does not prevent SprayLogic from sending transactional, security, or legally required messages.
Depending on an individual's place of residence and applicable law, the individual may have the right to:
These rights are not absolute and may not apply to information that is exempt from a particular law, information SprayLogic processes solely on behalf of a customer, or information that SprayLogic must retain for legal, security, contractual, or other permitted purposes.
To submit a privacy request, email support@spraylogic.co with the subject "Privacy Request" and describe the requested action. A user may also update certain account information through available account settings.
SprayLogic may request information reasonably necessary to verify the requester's identity, authority, account relationship, and jurisdiction. Information collected for verification will be used for verification, fraud prevention, request administration, and legal compliance.
If SprayLogic processes the relevant Personal Information solely on behalf of a customer, SprayLogic may direct the requester to the customer or forward the request to the customer. The customer is responsible for determining how to respond, and SprayLogic will provide reasonable assistance as required by applicable law or written agreement.
Where applicable law provides a right to appeal, an individual may email support@spraylogic.co with the subject "Privacy Appeal" and explain the basis for the appeal.
Where permitted by applicable law, an individual may use an authorized agent to submit a privacy request. SprayLogic may require proof of the agent's authority and may require the individual to verify identity directly or confirm that the agent has permission to act.
A customer may provide SprayLogic with Personal Information relating to the customer's employees, contractors, pilots, customers, landowners, vendors, or other individuals. SprayLogic generally does not have a direct relationship with those individuals and relies on the customer's instructions.
The customer represents that it has provided all required notices and obtained all rights, permissions, and consents necessary to collect, upload, use, and instruct SprayLogic to process that information. The customer is responsible for maintaining appropriate access controls and responding to questions or requests concerning the customer's collection and use of that information.
If an account is provided or managed by an employer, business, farm, contractor, or other organization, the organization's account owner or administrator may be able to create or remove users, reset access, assign permissions, view account activity, access Customer Data, and control the organization's account.
Authorized users should direct questions concerning an organization's access to the organization's account owner or administrator. Termination of an individual's relationship with an organization does not necessarily require SprayLogic to delete information that belongs to or must be retained by the organization.
SprayLogic is based in the United States. Personal Information and Customer Data may be processed in the United States and in other jurisdictions where contracted service providers, including Stripe or cloud infrastructure providers, operate.
Customers must not use the Services in a jurisdiction or manner that requires SprayLogic to comply with additional data-localization, international-transfer, or regulatory requirements unless SprayLogic has agreed to those requirements in writing.
SprayLogic may preserve, access, or disclose information when it reasonably believes doing so is required by applicable law, subpoena, court order, search warrant, regulatory request, or other legal process; is necessary to enforce agreements or investigate misconduct; or is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property.
Where legally permitted and commercially reasonable, SprayLogic may notify a customer of a legal request directed specifically to that customer's Customer Data.
SprayLogic may disclose or transfer information in connection with an actual or proposed financing, merger, acquisition, consolidation, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, insolvency, or other business transaction. A recipient may continue to process the information as described in this Privacy Policy unless and until a revised privacy notice is provided.
The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, platforms, app stores, or services. SprayLogic does not control the independent privacy practices of those third parties. Individuals should review the applicable third-party privacy policies before providing information or enabling an integration.
SprayLogic may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, data practices, technology, legal requirements, or business operations. The "Last Updated" date will identify the most recent revision.
SprayLogic may provide notice of a material change through the Services, by email, or by another reasonable method. Where applicable law requires consent for a new use of Personal Information, SprayLogic will request consent before using the information for that purpose.
